Sydney

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Mary ‘Fee’ (Conohan) Jacobs. Mom joined her beloved husband, Edgar ‘Jake’ Jacobs, on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney.
Mom will be remembered by her family and friends as a caring and loving person. She loved her bingo and baking. Her bread and buns were in high demand, and when the word spread it was baking day, many would show up for a loaf of bread or half a dozen buns. She enjoyed dart night with Jake. Besides raising her own children, she also loved looking after others while their parents worked.

Mary was predeceased by her loving husband, Edgar ‘Jake’; brothers, Dave, Joe, Tom, Bill, George, Guy, John and sisters, Lena and Maureen.
The family would also like to thank the staff of the Harbourstone Enhanced Care (Irish Cove) for their care of Mom during her time of need.

Online Condolences
I am so sorry to read of Mary’s passing. The last time I saw her was at the Pier Pharmasave a few years ago. She was a lovely person and a great neighbor. My deepest sympathy to her family.
