It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Ronald William Gushue on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012, in the palliative care unit of Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

He also leaves to mourn his seven children, Michael (Margaret), Peggy (Roy), Rhonda (George), Maureen (John), his special daughter, Debbie, Wendy and Craig. Ronald leaves behind his last surviving sister, Anna (Leo) and brother, Jim (Ellen). Peggy, Roy, Craig and the rest of the Gushue Family, Please accept my condolescences on Ron’ s passing. I worked with Ron at Moffatt Brothers Transfer when I was just out of high school. He always kept an eye out for the well being of the young guys working there for the summer. We always wanted to be working on his truck.
