It is with deep sadness we, the family, announce the sudden passing of Amber Dawn Boone on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Amber Dawn was the daughter of the late Marlene and Gregory Boone. Born at the crack of dawn, on November 15, 1987, in Dartmouth General, Dartmouth and later, moving to Bateston, Cape Breton where she was raised and spent most of her life.
Amber was a loving mother, sister, and friend. Her unique personality and sense of humour will be remembered by her closest friends whom she treasured and kept close throughout her life.
Amber Dawn leaves to mourn, her beautiful son, Kaiden Jon Boone, born October 17, 2010; Matthew Hines, who loved and helped raise their son, Kaiden; sister, Sara (Justin) Mahon; nephews, Owen Joe and Jaxon Pat; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
You have become an angel… way too soon! Reunited with Mom and Dad, we know you’re in good hands. Love you.
Gathering of family and friends to celebrate the life of Amber Dawn Boone will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier, from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023. Interment will take place in Eastmount Cemetery, Whitney Pier.
Donations in memory of Amber Dawn may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
