We, the family announce the passing of Albert Ross Marshall on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born on November 6, 1933, in Sydney, Ross was the son of the late Albert and Albertha (Williams) Marshall.
Ross is survived by his brother, George Chan Marshall; sister, Eleanor Avis Phinney; sons, Albert Paul Marshall, Eric John Marshall and granddaughters, Alex Catherine Marshall, and Zoe Anya Marshall.
Besides his parents, Ross was predeceased by his first wife, Catherine Lorraine Marshall and his second wife, Annette Joan D’Arc Donnell-Marshall.
Ross was a well known electrician and electrical expert who serviced many commercial customers on the island. For many years, Ross loved to shoot the breeze over beers at the Dobson Yacht club in Westmount. In his later years, Ross loved to chat over coffees at Tim’s in Sydney and watch sports at home.
There will be no visitation or service for the late Ross Marshall. A private family interment will be held in Harwood Hill Cemetery, Sydney, at a later date.
Donations in memory of Ross may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.

My deepest condolences. I worked many years with Ross and we had many drinks at the Dobson Yacht Club. He was a kind man. My prayers are with you and your families during your time of grief.
