It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the death of Stella Paruch, our beloved mother, Baba, sister, aunt and friend, on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Stella will be greatly missed by her children, Richard (Betty) and Alan (Erin); daughters-in-law, Iris, Rosanne, and sister, Karola Adams, Alberta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Andrew, Barbara, Katrina, Jonathan, Maria and Jeffery; great-grandchildren, Marin, Travis, Liam and Finn; sisters-in-law, Margie Mróz, Mary Enderle and Josephine Clow; as well as many nieces, nephews and godchildren. She will be sadly missed by her special friends, Steffie Sawka, Rosalie Starzomski, Annie Redmond and Bernard Paruch.

Besides her parents, Stella was predeceased by her husband, John Kantius Paruch; sons, John J. and Kenny; daughter, Barbara in infancy; granddaughter, Sarah in infancy, and brothers, Edward, Ted, and Joseph in infancy.

By Stella’s request, there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Polish Church, Whitney Pier with Fr. Dennis Lamey officiating.
