With heavy hearts, we regret to announce the passing of James Leonard Gillis, age 75, on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born on July 14, 1943 on Grand Lake Road, Nova Scotia, James was the son of the late John and Mae (Scott) Gillis.
James leaves behind his wife Mary and his extended family.
Donations in memory of James may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
