The children of Diane Brockett regret to announce the passing of our beloved mom on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Sydney surrounded by her family. Diane was the daughter of the late Howard and Emmaline Skiffington.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Tracy Brockett; sons, Ricky Brockett (Krista) and Chuckie Brockett (Holly); grandchildren, Ashley, Josie, Robert, Adam, Justin, Kyle, and Rylin; sister, Shirley Skiffington, Virginia Beach; brother, Glenn Skiffington, Musquodoboit; many great-grandchildren, and fur babies, Sammy, Sinder and Nyla.
Besides her parents, Diane was predeceased by her husband, Charles Brockett.
Visitation and funeral service to celebrate the life of Diane Brockett will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier on Friday, September 19, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11 a.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment will take place in Eastmount Cemetery, Whitney Pier.
Donations in memory of Diane may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
