The family of the late Cleo Cambridge, regret to announce his passing on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at home in Sydney.
Born in Sydney on August 22, 1955, Cleo was the son of the late May (King) Cambridge, and the late Garfield Moe.
Cleo is survived by his stepmother, Louise Moe; son, Corey (Elizabeth); sisters, Darlene, Marion (John), Mona, Wanda, Danita, and Dorothy; brothers, Louie, and Garfield; grandchildren, Cailey, and Cassidy; as well as a large extended family.
Besides his parents, Cleo was predeceased by his stepfather, Alphonse Bishop, and siblings, Jody, Jerome, and Connie.
Cleo was a kind and loving person. He loved his family and was liked by all who knew him. He shared a special relationship with his nephew, Chase and had an extra special bond with his beautiful great niece, Chloe May. He thought the world of her. Cleo will be missed by his great nephew twins, Jayden and Jordan, who always looked forward to his special treats.
Cleo was an avid bowler and over the years played in many leagues at the Heather Bowling Lanes. He loved music and enjoyed listening to his favorite artist, Michael Jackson. Cleo was an outstanding swimmer and baseball player in his younger years.

Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of Cleo Cambridge will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Fr. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
