It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vera Epifano, peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 11, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 31, 1932 in Sydney, Edith was the daughter of the late Albert and Agnes (Crane) Miles.

The family will always remember Vera for her dedication. She was employed at K-Mart and Dominion Store, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 128 Ladies Auxiliary.

Vera loved her nights out, whether a night at the legion, bingo, bowling, darts or just a good old game of cards.

I have so many wonderful memories of Vera while living next door to her. From her playing Conway and Loretta while working in her garden, to jumping the fence to take a quick dip in the pool. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. My thoughts are with her family. xoxo
