It is with heavy hearts, we share with relatives and friends the peaceful passing of Elaine Anthony, 73, on Monday, Aug. 3, 2015, at Northside Community Guest Home, North Sydney.
Born in Sydney Mines, Elaine was the daughter of the late Herbert and Sarah (MacDonald) Williams.
Elaine lived a simple life. She left home at an early age to marry and live a good part of her life in the United States. Later in life Elaine return to Cape Breton, the place she called home. She will be remembered by her family and friends for being a gentle woman.
Elaine is survived by her loving brother, Blair Williams and his family.
Besides her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband, Charles Anthony.
By Elaine’s request, cremation has taken place. A private family service and burial will take place in St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery, Little Bras d’Or, at a later date.
Donations in memory of Elaine may be made to the Northside Community Guest Home or St. Joseph’s Parish Cemetery.
A special thank you goes to the doctors and staff at the Northside Community Guest Home for the love and care given to my sister, Elaine, during her time of need.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
