We, the family regret to announce the passing of Pamela Elizabeth Fahey, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born on November 21, 1957, Pam was a daughter of the late Calixte and Margaret (Varcalli) LeBlanc.
Pam is survived by her son, Jason McKay; twin sister, Pauline MacNeil; three grandsons; eight great-grandchildren; special aunt, Heather; special friend, George; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family, too many to mention.
Besides her parents, Pam was predeceased by her brother, Bernie.
The family would like to like to thank the nurses, doctors, and the wonderful staff of Taigh Na Mara who cared for Pam in her time of need. We are truly grateful. Pam was truly blessed to have you all in her life.
Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of Pamela Fahey will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier on Monday, February 12, 2024. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Fr. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Donations in memory of Pamela may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
