It is with deep sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our beloved Kenneth Moore at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on Monday, August 1, 2022, at the age of 65, born April 24, 1957.
Ken is survived by his partner, Jean, and her children, Jay, Mark, and Joe; three grandchildren, Arianna, Helene, and Connor; sisters, Helen, and Caroline; brothers, Stephen (Paula), Brian, Bernie and foster brothers, Bobby and Lawrence Campbell.
Ken was predeceased by his birth parents, Marge Mintus and Ken Moore, and brothers, James and Roy. Ken was also predeceased by foster parents, Robert and Christine Campbell, and foster sister, Marilyn.
Ken was a real jokester and quite a tease. He loved the outdoors and during the last few years he enjoyed having pit fires in the backyard with Jean and their friends. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A special thank you to the Palliative Care Team of Cape Breton Regional Hospital for their care and compassion during Ken’s time of need.
A celebration of life for the late Kenneth Moore will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory of Ken may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
So sorry to read about Ken’s passing. Please accept my condolences.

My thoughts and most sincere sympathies are extended to all family members and friends.
My condolences to the family.
My self and Kennie were friends. I played a bingo game with him online. He sent me a message on messenger asking me to call him. He gave me his phone number. He sounded very upset and I couldn’t find out what was wrong. We met online and I thought that he was an excellent person. My heart is broken. Rest easy My friend.
Jean, my deepest condolences to you and your family. May Kenny rest in peace 💐
I’m so sorry for your loss. Our teenage crew used to hang out with Kenny back in the day. Sorry to say I lost touch over the years.
