It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing, after a lengthy illness, of our cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mary Elizabeth ‘Betty, Mae’ Moore, of Taylor St., Sydney, on February 24, 2014.

Besides her parents and husband, Betty was predeceased by her sons, Jimmy and Wayne, sisters, Jenny, Margaret, Aggie, Theresa and Lucy, brothers, Neil John, Jimmy, Hector, and several more siblings in infancy. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law, Charlie Gillis.

Our hearts are truly saddened to learn of Betty’s passing. She was my favorite aunt. She always greeted us with a sweet, happy smile. Betty was a happy, positive person who always accepted people for the way they were and was always ready to smile and be happy. Even in her home of many children she was always ready to find a spot for me to fit in with them . Ron and I send our condolences to the Moore family.
