Theresa: I am truly sorry for your loss. No one better than God, understands the depth of your pain and can help you cope with your disquieting thoughts. God is called the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation. Please believe the words of Psalm 34:18 ?Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart, and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.? Giving us a fore gleam of Paradise, Jesus said in John 6:40 ?For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.? Then, mankind will not be subject to criminals, violence, sickness, accidents, and death. God promised that we will also be at peace with the animals and ?for like the days of a tree will the days of my people be.? (Psalm 37:29; Isaiah 65:21-25; Micah 4:4; Revelation 21:3, 4) May these few scriptures bring you emotional support for the loss of your beloved Ron.
