The family of David Innis regret to announce his passing on Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.

Visitation and memorial service to celebrate the life of David Innis will be held at Pier Community Funeral Home, 1092 Victoria Rd. (entrance on Church St.), Whitney Pier on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. A gathering of family and friends will take place from noon to 1 p.m. with the memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. in the All Faith Chapel with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Interment will take place in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.

Donations in memory of David may be made to a charity of one’s choice.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
