It is with great sadness that we, the family announce the passing of Gilles Ernest Schryer at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the age of 79.
Gilles was born in Latulipe, Quebec, on July 10, 1946.
Gilles is survived by his wife, Myrtle (Rudderham); son, Eric; grandson, Josh; brothers, Marcel, James and sisters, Stella and Angele.
Gilles was Cremated, and by request, there will not be a visitation or service.
Donations in memory of Gilles may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
