It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we, the family of Charles, announce his passing on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Glace Bay Hospital, Glace Bay.
Born February 9, 1978, in Sydney, Charles was the son of late George LeMoine and Marguerite LeMoine.
Charles is survived by his sister, Tammy (David); niece, Janie; nephew, John David; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Besides his parents, Charles is predeceased by his grandparents, Stella Tellum and Robert Tellum and Lillian “Janie” and George Sr. LeMoine.
Charles brought a great amount of joy to his family over the years. With his love for music, he would brighten everyone’s day by singing his favourite tunes. Charles had an infectious laugh and mischievous smile that would win the hearts of many.
The Cape Breton Residential Society became a new home for Charles where he lived for many years. His home was beautiful and filled with people who became his second family. He was loved deeply and admired by all who cared for him. While living in his home, Charles enjoyed visits from his family and always looked forward to them bringing all of his favourite treats.
Charles will be missed deeply by all who knew and loved him.
A private family graveside memorial service for the late Charles LeMoine will be held at St. Bartholomew Cemetery, Louisbourg with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating at a later date.
Donations in memory of Charles may be made to The Cape Breton Residential Society.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Pier Community Funeral Home.
